Text presented on these pages is based on a four-volume set from the Ma Kiam Collection at the University of Virginia's Alderman Library. Chinese characters for which our software offered no precise equivalent are bracketed in our text. There are also a few blank spaces and unclear characters in the printed text, which have been silently emended in the electronic version. We have included certain accidentals (punctuation, etc.) to make the text easier to read. Please be aware that such accidentals may be placed differently in other sources.
