Middle English To search for words containing these characters you need to type in the character code. So, to search for þe king you need to type in &t;e king, where the þ is represented by its code &t; -- to search for wið you need to type wi&d; -- for ri3t, type ri&y;t, and so on.

Early American Fiction A subset of texts from a Mellon Foundation funded project, the entire Early American Fiction collection represents 136 American authors writing between 1789 and 1875.
