EAF Author: Thomas Dunn English 1819-1902

Thomas Dunn English was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but spent most of his career in New York and New Jersey. A physician and sometime lawyer in addition to an author, Dr. English wrote numerous poetical works, such as "Ben Bolt," and several plays, some of which enjoyed long stage runs.
