Dr. James H. Minor
Dear Sir
I write
you these lines to inform you
of my health which is quite well
at present. I hope these lines will
find the same. Give my best
respects to Father. Please Send me
Some nails number 6 & number 8. I have no
house. I received 1 pair shoes
from you. I would thank you
for you to send one keg of powder &. 1. keg of
fish. Please Send me
Some calico & Some blue denims
ed.. Please Send 2 pair shoes, Gators
& fifty pounds of tobacco, One Box of
soap, half barrel of Flour 1/2 Flour
& sugar. The things I Sent for please
Send [unclear: she] them to me, because I have all the
children with me & this country is hard.
Please send me one axe & 2 hoes.
Nothing More
I remain yours
