August 8, 1766.

RUN away from the subscriber in Lunenburg, a Negro fellow named Will, rather inclined to a yellow than black complexion, about 34 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, well made, is very active, and has a bad countenance: had on osnabrug shirt and trousers, a light coloured duffil great coat, and a Virginia made hat about half wore. I purchased him of Major William Taylor, in Hanover county. Whoever apprehends the said Negro, and conveys him to me, shall have 3 l. reward, if taken within the colony, and if out thereof 10 l.
WILLIAM TAYLOR.
