Letter from James Carroll to Caroline Latimer, October 7, 1906

printer-friendly version

WAR DEPARTMENT,
SURGEON GENERAL'S OFFICE,
ARMY MEDICAL MUSEUM AND LIBRARY,
WASHINGTON.
October 7th 1906.
Dear Dr Latimer;

    Some of
my friends in Washington
are giving a little thought
to my share in the yellow
fever investigations
and they have asked me
for information and data,
I would like to show
them the letters and other
papers loaned to you

and to Dr Kelly and
write to ask if you
can let me have them
soon for that purpose.
You are at liberty to
make copies of any of
them or I can let you
have them again, later,
if you desire.

    I shall be in Baltimore
on Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday for the Herter
lectures and would be
glad to call for them
if that will be quite
convenient.

Yours very sincerely,

James Carroll
