York in Pennsylvania Feby 13. 1778

Congress having ordered 20,000 Loan Office Certificates amounting to 10,000,000 Dollars to be forthwith struck under the Direction of the Board of Treasury,(1) I have to request your Assistance in procuring Colours for the Borders if the Treasurer should find it necessary to send to Boston for this Purpose.
