ADLER, Alfred (1870-1937):

   Austrian psychiatrist whose passionate concern with social problems led him to embrace socialism. Many of his ideas like the "inferiority complex" have been incorporated into popular speech. His books include:Understanding Human Nature (1928), and What Life Should Mean To You (1932).
