Dr. sir,

    I sent forward several days ago, by a boat, to Shadwell Mills, Care Chs. Vest, the five Boxes of instruments &C:, recd. from London, by the Ship Richmond, for the University, which it would be well to look to, as their contents may be easily injured; I gave a special charge of care to the Boatman, & to Mr. Vest.

    I have sent off another of your large pieces of Marble,
