We have been authorized & instructed by the Visitors of the University to examine & settle the Accounts of the Proctor. We consider the accounts of the Proctor of the Central College, as coming within the limits of our commission, and we would be obliged to you to meet us on that subject at the University with as little delay as practicable. Should the present notice be unexpected, & your books & papers not be in a state of readiness, you will have the necessary time to prepare them.
