To MAJOR GENERAL WILLIAM HEATH Head Quarters, Col. Morris's, September 17, 1776.

    Sir: Some advices lately received from Powle's hook,68 has made it necessary that Col. William's69 regiment, should march to that post as a reinforcement to Col. Durkie; it w'dl be proper therefore they should be immedy put in motion towards Mount Washington, where they are to cross. Yours, etc.70
