   This Dover edition, first published in 1966, is a new collection of scientific fiction by H. G. Wells. The stories contained in this volume were taken from the following books by H. G. Wells:

   The Invisible Man, Harper & Brothers Publishers, 1897.

   "The Crystal Egg," "The Man Who Could Work Miracles" and "The Star," as published in Tales of Space and Time, Doubleday & McClure Co., 1899.
