[February 22 to February 27 ]

        I took the mumps the 22nd (Feb. 1862) inst. and stayed in camp until the 27th (Feb.1862) when I went to Winchester to the Hospital where Iremained until the 2nd March (1862), when I was sent toStrasburg where I remained over night, and on the evening ofthe 3rd (March 1862) started for the Hospital at Mt. Jacksonwhich place we arrived at 10 o'clock the same evening.

        The Regt. left their camp atZollicoffer on the 27th (Feb. 1862) and moved to within threequarters of a mile of Winchester and went into theirtents.
