8. Two Cranberry Glass Vases. These glasses were given by Roberta Gwalthney née Hollingsworth, first dean of women at the University, who married Allen Gwalthney, Professor of Chemistry. The gift may have been given by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Jeffress, who restored some of the brick walks to the University and who also donated the large round table in Garnett room [item no. 12]. These vases are etched with patterns of grape clusters and vines.

They are 9.5" high.
