Note to Campus Publishing in Standardized Electronic Formats -- HTML and TEI

The TEI-to-HTML filter is is simple perl script -- a search and replace mechanism, written by me. The rather more involved forms and cgibin scripts for allowing the script to be run from a web client are the work of Jeff Herrin, the Unix specialist in the UVa Library systems office. Both the converter and the cgi scripts to run it from a web client will be made public just as soon as we are sure they are ready.
