About the IT Journal...

The IT Journal is a publication of the Instructional Technology Program at the University of Virginia's Curry School of Education. Articles submitted by students and faculty pertain to the field of Instructional Technology and Design. Articles address such topics such as copyright issues, virtual libraries, technology and education, research, project management and Web-based training.

Created by Susan Powers and sponsored by Professor Mable Kinzie, the IT Journal began in 1993 as a collaborative effort among faculty and students to provide a forum for sharing scholarship within the Instructional Technology program. This annual publication became available electronically in 1997. For the 1999 edition, the journal has expanded the call for submissions to students enrolled in IT programs at neighboring institutions in the United States. Our intent is to become a collaborative publication venue for talented IT students across the country.

This site provides links to full text copies of journal articles as well as information on submission guidelines, the editors, and members of the IT Journal review team.
