Symposium: "Faulkner in the University: Then and Now"

Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.

This spring marks fifty years since the great American author William Faulkner served his second and last term as Writer-in-Residence at U.Va. To mark this occasion, four noted Faulkner scholars will lead a discussion of the ways in which "Faulkner in the University" has changed since the late 1950's. Event details >

We also invite you to view the exhibit currently on display on the first floor of the Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library. Curated by graduate students from Professor Stephen Railton's Faulkner seminar, the exhibit includes letters, manuscripts, the typewriter from his office while in Alderman Library, and an audio/video display.
